You'll be the first line of customer service when you work as a Receptionist in a health centre or leisure club. Your main responsibility will be to greet guests and visitors with warmth and professionalism, answer their requests for information and put them immediately at ease in the establishment. You'll also field requests from the centre's management, handle post, phone calls and appointments.

Training, qualifications and prior experience are extremely valuable for a Receptionist. You'll need a calm head, great interpersonal skills and an unflappably professional demeanour. Computer skills and familiarity with office software suites and calendar programs are also beneficial.
