Manager required for next winter season in Morzine.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing all operational and guest related aspects of resort management. You will supervise and organise the chalet staff and ensure that our high standards, procedures and company image are maintained. You will produce regular and accurate reports.

You will help deliver an outstanding training course pre-season and ensure the chalet staff are ready and raring to go from day one.
You will be comfortable dealing with any client or staff situation in a professional manner but be happy to pitch-in with the team to deliver the very best service.

You will have an understanding of food and what is required to deliver the excellent catering we promise our clients. The ability to cook (in case of the chalet chef being unavailable) would be a big advantage.
You need to be highly organised and adaptable with excellent communication skills, ideally having previous experience working overseas.

Of the posts we have available, the position of Resort Manager is probably the most challenging and demanding, but it promises to offer a most rewarding experience.

StarSki Chalets is a small business, so you will need to be a team player to get on. At certain times, for example, someone in the resort will need to clear away snow, buy fire wood, fetch a replacement gas cylinder for a gas cooker, arrange ski lessons for a guest, adjust the chemistry of the hot tub water, and a whole load more besides. You need to be the sort of person who understands that if something needs doing, you might as well volunteer to get it done!


  • You must be over 25 years old
  • An EU passport and a permanent UK National Insurance Number
  • Knowledge of French - Important
  • Ability to manage your time effectively
  • Good organisational skills
  • An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • A neat and well groomed appearance at all times
  • Staff management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some experience of winter seasonal work is essential
  • Position of responsibility to have been held for a minimum of 2 years
