Rex Restaurants, the team behind the internationally renowned Wolseley restaurant are opening a new central London restaurant, The Delaunay and are looking for top class pastry chefs.

There are no stars in our pastry kitchens, we celebrate success as a team. We don’t shout, we don’t scream, we don’t intimidate and we don’t humiliate (as we’ve heard some kitchens can) but we do look for the best chefs in the country and we reward them accordingly. If you have a real passion for food, great knife skills, a good grounding in classical pastry techniques and an instinct and commitment to delivering the best dish possible for a customer each and every time, then we want to hear from you.

Hate doing endless mis en place? At our restaurants we like to have talented chefs do what they do best – cook! We work with a team of overnight production chefs who produce all the mis en place for the pastry kitchen so that you can come into service ready to spend the time doing what you love. Hate working split shifts and doubles? We work straight shifts and only one double shift per week.

Requirements

Similar level experience in a similar restaurant.
A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
Basic food hygiene preferred.
A keen interest in food.
Energetic and enthusiastic
