Description

OVERALL PURPOSE 
To maintain Mountain Rooms & Chalets portfolio & Val Service contracted properties.  To be either a trained plumber, electrician, carpenter or have a proven track record in any of these fields. 

PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES 
To manage maintenance work as it is briefed in relation to the above mentioned properties.
To maintain a log of hours worked on a time sheet that is submitted daily • To complete job sheets with your time and materials used (standard form for each job) that is then invoiced by accounts on completion. 
To identify parts and materials required to carry out each job and submit lists for purchasing.
To monitor stock levels of basic maintenance materials to ensure we have optimum stock levels in the store.
To snow clear when required either at the office or at properties. 
To deliver provisions for client arrivals on Saturdays.
To deliver luggage for clients as and when required.
To help with linen where required.
Such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.  

Requirements

PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must hold a clean UK driving licence and be willing to drive in the snow.
Knowledge of spoken & written French is useful
Electrical, plumbing, carpentry or general maintenance experience necessary or a proven track record within the maintenance environment.  
The job may require working unusual hours if a client has a problem and a call out is required.
