Description
If you're looking for further training and a foot on the ladder in the fitness and active leisure sector this could be the role for you!
Successful applicants will be required to attend an intensive training programme based in central London for the first three weeks of their employment. The initial training required will cover the following qualifications:
- Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Active Leisure, Learning and Wellbeing
- Operational Services
- Key Skills Application of Number Level 1
- Key Skills Communication Level 1
- Certificate in Sport and Active Leisure Facility Operations Level 2* - checking this now with our Qualifications Manager
- Award in Employment Awareness in Active
Leisure and Learning Level 2
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) Certificate in Swimming Pool Supervision and Rescue
Requirements
Although no previous experience or qualifications are required applicants must be able to swim, dive to the bottom of the pool and climb out of a pool unaided in order to be able to excel as a Lifeguard.
