Description
Hotel Events Co-ordinator required for Vista Hotels in the Channel Islands.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meeting and exceeding all internal customer and external customer requirements
- To provide knowledgeable information with regards to show rounds and enquiries
- To liaise with guests regarding the requirements, enquiries, complaints and compliments and taking such action as maybe necessary to ensure satisfaction and maintain the high quality standard of the hotel
- Keeping the C&B diary up-to-date and ensuring that where other departments are affected the relevant closures are done
- To ensure that all function sheets are up-to-date with the correct information and provided in advance according to the requirements at function briefing
- Good interdepartmental communication
- Weekly forecast on a three month rolling basis to be provided to the GM before a Friday
- To ensure that all bookings are within the company/hotels policy and procedures for deposits, payments and signed contracts
- Achievement of budgeted controls, revenue, cost of sales and profits
- To maintain an effective mechanism for following up conference business enquiries and for providing an after sales service in order to secure repeat business
- Forward sales calls to capture repeat business
- Good administration and storage of files
