Spend winter 2014/15 in Morzine or the Three Valleys!

You will be in charge of one our busy kitchens in our 15 bedroom Chalet Gourmet in Morzine or one of our Club Hotels in the Three Valleys  
A key role in the management team; overseeing the kitchen and working closely with the chalet management, you will be responsible for the preparation and service of a carefully planned 6-day menu, all food ordering, monthly stock checks, customer feedback evaluation and ensuring hygiene controls are of the highest standard.

Our weekend product is unique, you will therefore need to pull upon your previous kitchen management experience to continually motivate and encourage your team to achieve and sustain the high standards we expect whilst working to a strict budget.

More than anything you will need to be able to ensure our customers get the most from their holiday meal experience and be wow’d by both you and SkiWeeks. Quality of ingredients, taste and presentation are of the utmost importance, as is a speedy and reliable service even at our busiest times.

In return we offer one of the best packages available to winter overseas workers including a season pass.

Requirements

* You will have at least 3 years' experience as a Chef, preferably 1 winter season as well.

* You will be confident, flexible, a good listener & leader and able to think clearly and rationally in a crisis.

* Conversational kitchen French is desirable.

All applicants for European positions must have a permanent National Insurance number, a UK or EU passport, a UK contact address and a UK bank account.

SkiWeeks is a small, friendly independent Tour Operator, specialising in short-break ski and snowboard holidays for both individuals and groups.

We offer the most competitive short-break holiday prices for destinations in France, Italy, and Switzerland. Clients can choose to travel with us by flight from a variety of departure airports in Britain, or travel on our luxury coaches overnight.

WINTER JOBS
The main hub of our programme is Brides-Les-Bains in the 3 Valleys, France. A typical Savoyard town only a bubble-lift ride away from Meribel, our clients and staff gain all the benefits of the 3 Valleys without the prices! We operate a busy Club Hotel with a close-knit team who have a passion for the snow, in addition our programme also includes other privately run hotels in the town. We also operate a Chalet Hotel in Morzine part of the wonderful Portes du Soleil ski area. Although busiest at weekends the Club Hotel and Chalet Hotel operate 7 days a week.

If you have an outgoing, enthusiastic personality, love the snow and enjoy hard work then we may be the company for you. We understand that excellent staff are critical to excellent customer service and are looking forward to recruiting another great team for the coming winter. Successful applicants will need to be available from December through to April.
