circa £17,000 per annum + tronc (anticipated earnings £19,000)




Rex Restaurants, the team behind the internationally renowned Wolseley restaurant are looking for top class chefs to work on the sections.
There are no stars in our kitchens, we celebrate success as a team. We don’t shout, we don’t scream, we don’t intimidate and we don’t humiliate (as we’ve heard some kitchens can) but we do look for the best chefs in the country and we reward them accordingly. If you have a real passion for food, great knife skills, a good grounding in classical cooking techniques and an instinctive commitment to delivering the best dish possible for a customer, each and every time, then we want to hear from you.
Hate doing endless mis en place? At our restaurants we like to have talented chefs do what they do best – cook! We work with a team of overnight production chefs who produce all the mis en place and prep the stoves, stocks and sauces so that you can come into service ready to spend the time doing what you love. Hate working split shifts and doubles? We work straight shifts and only one double shift per week.

  • Similar level experience in a similar restaurant.
  • Some leadership ability and training skills.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Basic food hygiene preferred.
