Description

We currently require experienced Chef de Partie to work for Jockey Club Catering at Cheltenham Racecourse throughout the year at some of our fantastic racing events!

We are the official caterers at Cheltenham Racecourse which is home to hunt racing and host to the famous National Hunt Festival - Gold Cup.  Catering at Cheltenham Racecourse, provide high quality catering in an exciting environment, with an outstanding range of menus and bespoke packages to suit every occasion.

We are part of the Compass Group who manage multiple venues around the UK once you are registered with us you will be eligible to work at other major sporting venues such as Wimbledon, Edgbaston and Henley Regatta.

As a chef de partie you will be contributing to the efficient running of one of our many kitchens.

You will have the skills and passion to produce great food. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team whilst ensuring that you adhere to food health and hygiene regulations. 

You need to be self motivated and have the ability to work in a pressurised environment.

Requirements


  • You will have NVQ level 1 / 2 in food preparation or equivalent and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • You must be will be 16 years of age or over.
  • You will posses a pleasant, friendly, polite manner and good customer service skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills are necessary.
  • Experience is essential and we offer very competitive rates of pay.
