Description
As a Chalet Housekeeper you will be responsible for the overall presentation and cleanliness of your chalet. You will provide exceptional care to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. You will ensure that the chalet is clean, tidy and a warm atmosphere is created for their arrival and you will lead an informative welcome meeting providing knowledge and information about the chalet and the resort.
You will perform daily housekeeping tasks both in guest bedrooms and communal areas and ensure that all meal services run smoothly and efficiently with a first class service.
You must have an instinctive eye for detail and your guest care must be outstanding. You will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality, demonstrate an efficient, organised approach to tasks, have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team.
As well as the skills related to your role your will also be required to assist with other physical indoor and outdoor duties throughout the season such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting and ensure that you fully support the Chalet Hotel and Child Care programmes.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or experience in the hospitality/catering/tour operations industry essential
- Customer service experience essential
- Supervision and staff training experience desirable
- Stock/budget control experience desirable
- EU passport holders only, with UK residency and UK permanent National Insurance number
