Want to spend next winter on the slopes?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work overseas as a host in one of our luxurious chalets based within our hand picked European ski resorts. This position will appeal to a strong independent all-rounder that has a passion for service and enjoys working closely with guests.

No cooking is involved in our Hosting roles but you will need the flair to be able to look after a chalet of up to 14 guests. Our Hosts work alongside a chef and on a daily basis serve breakfast and keep the chalet bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas thoroughly clean.

  • Serve tea/ coffee in bed, lay the table, serve a full breakfast, afternoon tea and children’s tea
  • Serve canapés and a four to five course evening meal in a formal dining environment 
  • Serve champagne and wine from a selected wine list 
  • Folding and starching napkins
  • Creating a warm and friendly environment
  • Daily housekeeping and turndown service
  • Report any guest related issues to the chalet manager
  • Resort knowledge, as a host you will be expected to recommend local restaurants, bars and  amenities/activities
  • Arrange and communicate daily guest transfers to the driving teams
  • During the season you may be required to take part in additional tasks/duties to ensure that our operation is running efficiently at all times. Tasks may include snow clearing, cleaning, driving and any guest requests. Operational timings may depend on arrivals, departures and any special events.

Our hosts have a special skill of making our chalets the most welcoming and cosy in the Alps and also have eagle eyes for spotting anything out of place!


We’re looking for Hosts who are reliable, have good self-motivation are organised and professional. A background in guest relations and ideally experience in waiting and/or housekeeping, Silver Service is highly desirable.

A second language is desirable - French or German preferred

Throughout the summer we’ll be running Host Assessment Days and are currently inviting applications for this winter team in France and Austria.

It’s not essential that you hold a full UK/EU driving licence but it is helpful.

Unfortunately we cannot accept applications from holders of UK Working Visas.

Applicants must have a valid UK National Insurance number and UK bank account
