Description

Host a chalet's guests in Zermatt, Switzerland this winter ski season! Mountain Exposure seek a Chalet Host/Assistant Chef to take care of their guests and help with preparing great cuisine.

Key responsibilities and duties:

* Provide a welcoming atmosphere, showing guests to their rooms and helping with luggage
* Preparing and serving breakfast and evening meals and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen
* Daily and weekly housekeeping, maintaining the chalet's orderliness and cleanliness
* Preparing and serving high tea
* Ordering supplies & stock control according to a weekly chalet meeting and regular stock-takes
* Guest care, attending to any and all requests to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
* Ensuring the health & safety of guests at all times, including a chalet risk assessment before the start of the season
* Paperwork such as weekly catering, cleaning orders, budget control, weekly chalet reports
* Remaining flexible to perform any other duties

Requirements

All applicants must have the following experience:

* Previous management experience
* Previous hospitality /(silver) service experience
* Computer literate
* Cleaning experience
* Guest care skills
