We are looking for couples to run Chalet Juliette (sleeps 14-16), Chalet Dahu (sleeps 12) and our luxury chalet, Chalet Jamais Bleu (sleeps 14) You must have experience in catering for large groups, have excellent standards of cleaning, have good people skills and lots of energy.   There are two defined roles as set out below, but if you would like to share some of the roles this can be discussed during the interview.

Chalet Chef Relevant qualifications or professional experience is preferable, and a passion for cooking and confidence in throwing dinner parties is necessary as well as a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.  Six days a week, you will provide breakfast, afternoon tea, pre dinner canapés and a four-course dinner with wine (also children’s high tea when required). (A fixed menu is provided, together with recipes for Chalet Juliette and Chalet Dahu)

You will be in charge of keeping the kitchen spotless and well run and assisting with other chalet duties, maintaining at all times good health and safety practices.

You must be well organised, a good timekeeper and be able to follow our working guidelines.

*For Chalet Jamais Bleu, our luxury chalet, please note that you must have relevant qualifications and professional experience. You will also be required to devise your own menu within a fixed budget.

The Chalet Chef is supported by a Chalet Host, who takes care of all housekeeping duties, which include setting up the table and serving at meals, washing up, assisting the chef in the kitchen and cleaning the chalet on a daily basis. It is important that the chalets are kept spotless at all times.Thoroughly cleaning the chalet on transfer day, changing linen, towels etc, sorting dirty linen for collection and making necessary preparations for new arrivals.  Washing towels and bathrobes, and carrying out a mid week towel change.You will welcome the guests, assisting with lift passes, ski hire, ski school and perform a welcome speech. You must create a welcoming and relaxed environment in the chalet and ensure that the highest level of service is given to your guests at all times. You must be knowledgeable about the resort and give a daily weather report. You must be friendly and outgoing, and feel at ease chatting to the guests, making them feel relaxed and welcome. You must take pride in your chalet, with an eye for detail and genuinely care about the guests.You must be well organised, a good timekeeper and be able to follow our working guidelines. A background in customer service and experience in food preparation and cleaning is essential.



Essential: UK/EU passport, a UK National Insurance and a UK bank account

Hold a UK Driving Licence, you must be over 22 years of age to drive our vehicles

Relevant cooking qualifications or catering experience (chef)
Experience in food preparation, cleaning and a background in customer service (host)
