Description
We are currently recruiting activity organizes to lead a team of teachers and activity monitors to provide a full activity programme for our residential courses. Duties include:
- Booking places to visit during excursions.
- Providing information for teachers, group leaders and students about the excursions.
- Organising and coordinating activities in the local area of Nottingham and the campus.
- Booking venues etc. for local activities.
- Working with the Centre Manager and Group Leaders to ensure the activities programme suits the students.
- Producing budget estimates for the activity programme.
- Checking accounts and payments to produce final accounts.
- Publicising the activities programme.
- Carrying out supervisory duties at the residence and acting as Duty Manager in the absence of the Centre Manager.
- Coordinating transport and staff for airport transfers.
- Upholding the reputation of St. Giles International
Requirements
- Currently studying for a degree or have completed a degree.
- Enthusiastic.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to handle responsibility.
- Interested in working with children and teenagers.
- Creative.
- Computer literate.
- Interested in taking part in sports.
- Previous summer camp experience would be beneficial but not essential
