As one of three senior members of staff at each summer centre, the Activity Manager is responsible for the organisation of the activity programme, as well as assisting the Centre Manager with the overall operation of the centre. As such this role requires the full commitment of the postholder.

As Activity Manager you will be responsible for the management of a team of staff and must therefore be a confident leader. You will organise, manage and lead a wide variety of activities including excursions in the local area and further afield and daily activites such as quiz nights, games, sports, discos, talent nights and international evenings. The role will therefore include everything from confirming transport and doing staff rotas to dealing with clients face to face, organising and reorganising activities to suit students and liasing closely with other senior managers and head office.

This is a very responsible role requiring excellent organisational skills and an pro-active, confident and professional approach. Whilst some administration will be required, this is not an office-based job and as such you will therefore be required to lead from the front at all times.

Requirements

As this is a senior post within an EFL Summer School, candidates must be able to speak English to native level.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure check and will be required to attend a Senior Induction weekend.
