Spend your summer working with children from around the world!

We are looking for energetic, outgoing people who have a professional attitude, can work well in a team and enjoy the challenge of a fun and busy international environment.

The Lewis School of English, Southampton, was established in 1976 and is open all year round for adult courses. We have been running junior programmes since 1997 and have recently expanded our
operations to offer summer junior centres in Southampton, Reading, Northampton, London (Harrow) and Stirling.

As an Activity Leader, you will:

• Encourage and motivate students to participate fully in the programme.
• Set up and take part in various sports activities and tournaments.
• Set up and lead creative activities, e.g. in art, dance, drama or music.
• Guide and supervise students on half-day and full-day trips to other cities and attractions.
• Set up evening activities, e.g. discos, fancy dress parties, shows and competitions. Entertain students during these activities.
• Supervise students during mealtimes.
• Work six days per week, with shifts including a variety of mornings, afternoons and evenings, on a rota basis.

Requirements

• You must be eligible to work in the UK
• Pay details on application
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
• You should be able to lead activities in arts, entertainment or sports
• First aid or lifeguard qualifications are an advantage
