Description

As an Activity Instructor you will be assigned to lead a variety of different arts and sports activities; adapting your skills and experience to work with different age ranges throughout a season.

 

Reporting directly to the Camp Manager, description of responsibilities as follows:

  • Adhere to processes and procedures whilst the children in your care continually have a fun, stimulating and safe time
  • Plan and deliver a variety of activities with structure and enthusiasm and encourage maximum participation
  • Deliver a structured and enjoyable activity period during drop off and pick up time
  • Additional duties will include registering crews, cleaning and kit maintenance etc.

Pay:

£251.15 per week for 18 to 20 year olds rising to £311.85 per week for 21 year olds and over (based on a 5 day week. Part-time contracts also available)

 

Hours:

8am – 5.30pm / 8.30am – 6.00pm (Monday to Friday) with a half hour unpaid lunch break  

Temporary Contract:

School holidays. Part seasons considered  

On appointment all staff will be expected to complete a CRB disclosure and supply us with references

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Ideally qualified or studying towards a sports/coaching, creative and/or teaching/childcare qualification
  • Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills and good sense of initiative
  • Flexible team player willing to take on various tasks as required

Selection and Appointment Process:



If your online application form is short listed you will be contacted by the Super Camps HR team who will speak to you further about your experiences. If selected, you will be required to complete an online test based on our online training programme. Following this you will be required to attend an unpaid Central Training and Assessment Day based at various locations. Finally before you start work you will need to attend a Venue Specific Training and Set Up Day located at school at which you will be working. Staff attending a Venues Specific T
