Robinwood has achieved a place in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to work for in 2014.We’re really proud to have gained our place in the Top 100, which includes a range of different types of companies from recruitment agencies to software developers, but no other companies quite like Robinwood!
Robinwood Centres run year round so we are able to offer permanent contracts to our staff team. If you successfully complete your initial contract you will be offered a permanent contract for year round employment.
Training & development
Robinwood offers all staff a comprehensive induction training package when they start, and ongoing support and development throughout their employment. We assess applicants on qualities which are in line with our company values – enthusiasm and positivity, the ability to support others, and excellent customer awareness – which means we welcome applications from people who can demonstrate those attributes but don’t necessarily have previous qualifications.
Everyone at Robinwood is paid a starting wage of £7.40 per hour with no hidden deductions. Robinwood staff are employed all year round with six weeks of paid holiday per year.
Robinwood has three Activity Centres; two of which (Dobroyd Castle and The Old School) are located in the south Pennines market town of Todmorden, benefitting from excellent transport links. Our third centre, Barhaugh Hall, is situated on the Cumbria/Northumbria border in an designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
