Chalet controller required in Chamonix!

The aim of this seasonal role is to provide finance support for the tour operations programme in France, Switzerland & Andorra. This focuses on management of the Sapphire (sales) database, the accurate accounting of local & pre-paid skipack & apres-ski sales, cost of sales, local expenses and cash reconciliations. 

Responsibilities

  • Management of accounting data and cash from a group of resorts
  • Sapphire data integrity - input, management, reporting, assistance of resort staff with Sapphire
  • Loading ski pack contract information onto Sapphire
  • Payment management - reconciling cash movements and assisting with credit card payment queries
  • Ledger reconciliation
  • Inputting sales & cost data onto the Oracle Accounts system
  • Assisting in rep & resort manager training at beginning of season; ad-hoc training as required

Requirements

  • Previous accounts and data input experience
  • Knowledge of Excel and Email systems
  • Good organisational, time management and communication skills
  • Driving licence essential, language skills highly desirable
  • Team players with flexible, mature attitude
