Chalet controller required in Chamonix!
The aim of this seasonal role is to provide finance support for the properties programme in France, Switzerland, Italy & Austria. This focuses on the accurate accounting of spend and local income per pax thus enabling Properties Managers to maximise profitability and meet/exceed targets.
Responsibilities
- Weekly monitoring and reporting of income and expenses; understanding and explaining variances to management
- Posting transactions to and reconciliation of the Oracle accounting system ledgers
- Matching & coding of invoices
- Cash control & banking investigations
- Training of properties managers in accounts, providing support and assistance as necessary
- Setting up of weekly operational accounting and reporting spreadsheets Help with monthend reporting and reconciliations Visits to operational sites as required
- Ad hoc requests
Requirements
- Previous accounts and data input experience
- Knowledge of Excel and Email systems
- Good organisational, time management and communication skills
- Driving licence essential, language skills highly desirable
- Team players with flexible, mature attitude
