Chalet controller required in Chamonix!

The aim of this seasonal role is to provide finance support for the properties programme in France, Switzerland, Italy & Austria. This focuses on the accurate accounting of spend and local income per pax thus enabling Properties Managers to maximise profitability and meet/exceed targets. 

Responsibilities

  • Weekly monitoring and reporting of income and expenses; understanding and explaining variances to management
  • Posting transactions to and reconciliation of the Oracle accounting system ledgers
  • Matching & coding of invoices
  • Cash control & banking investigations
  • Training of properties managers in accounts, providing support and assistance as necessary
  • Setting up of weekly operational accounting and reporting spreadsheets Help with monthend reporting and reconciliations Visits to operational sites as required
  • Ad hoc requests

Requirements

  • Previous accounts and data input experience
  • Knowledge of Excel and Email systems
  • Good organisational, time management and communication skills
  • Driving licence essential, language skills highly desirable
  • Team players with flexible, mature attitude
