Description

Looking for a long season job or permanent employment? Robinwood are now recruiting Group Leaders / Instructors, with year-round employment available.

We run 3 day courses for primary school children offering activities such as climbing & abseiling, hill walking, stream walking, open canoeing, raft building, archery, problem solving, caving, low ropes and team challenge.

As a group leader you’ll instruct or assist with virtually all of the activity sessions that the group takes part in during their three day course at Robinwood so you’ll have the chance to really get to know your group.

Group leading at Robinwood is enjoyable, rewarding, but also challenging. The position provides an ideal opportunity to work with children in an exciting outdoor adventure and teamwork environment, without the restriction of the classroom.

Typically once a week group leaders take charge of an activity group of up to 12 children. The group leader meets the children on arrival and instructs or assists with the all (or virtually all) of the activity sessions that the group takes part in during their three day course at Robinwood. Group leaders are central to the success of a Robinwood course.
