Activity Leaders

Description

Not all your summer has to be spent lying on a beach: some of it can be spent working with ISIS, one of the UK's leading youth travel and education providers.

Students attending our summer schools receive a combination of 15 hours English language tuition per week and a comprehensive programme of activities and excursions. The activity programme includes on site daytime and evening activities such as Treasure Hunts, Casino Nights, International Food Nights, Cabaret and Karaoke, sports and games. Students also have the opportunity to go on excursions to places of cultural and historical interest.

Activity Leaders work 13 sessions per week over a period of 6 days with at least 1 full day off per week. Time cannot usually be taken off at weekends.

Activity staff work a maximum of 44 hours per week.

Requirements

The following are essential:

• Aged 18 or over
• Eligible to live and work in the UK
• Outgoing personality
• Enthusiasm
• Good communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Reasonable level of physical fitness as the post requires substantial amounts of walking on excursions, and carrying of equipment in order to set up activities

Successful applicants may be required to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure or Disclosure Scotland.
