Club Vass have been perfecting the ultimate Windsurfing experience for many years now, we are looking for a new resort manager to lead our experienced team out in Egypt. The roles includes the management and safe running of the beach operation we have out in Dahab in Egypt. To including staff management of a small team UK and local, manage revenue generation, budgeted costs adhered to, delivery of courses, and uphold company standards. Manage local relations with hotel and 3rd party suppliers. Main contact for guests ensuring that customer service is delivered to the highest levels to complete the clients holiday experience and the brochure is delivered. This position is to start at the end of August 2010 for the winter 10/11 season and may be increased as per performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage guests transfers and communication with hotel suppliers.
  • Ensure beach operation adheres to company, RYA and local laws
  • Ensure the highest level of customer care is delivered at all times, resolving customer problems quickly and efficiently
  • Plan and ensure delivery of a professional, fun and safe water sports programme
  • Undertake a proactive approach to potential water front problems
  • Manage and develop beach staff teaching skills, techniques and safety awareness.
  • Manage all aspects of managing the team in performing staff inductions, appraisals and development.
  • Drive revenue, maximising local walk in and kit sales to achieve the financial targets
  • Manage control expenditure and working with in budgets set.
  • Complete company paperwork
  • Ensure and implement an effective maintenance programme.
  • Ensure all equipment is used, handled and stored in an appropriate manner by staff and guests
  • Organising “bad weather” activities and social events
  • Manage and contribute fully to the overall running of the Club, by involvement with social events and weekly prize giving
  • Promote good working relations with local suppliers
  • Help provide promotional material
  • Responsible for handling, safe keeping and recording of company money.
  • You may be required to move between different resorts
  • You will be required to be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties requested by your line manager

  • 2 seasons instructing at various levels

  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation
